Thanks for a Great Q&A
When Bill decided to do a live, online webcast to take questions from viewers around the world, no one knew what to expect, including Bill himself. The event demonstrated that poverty and development are tremendously important to people everywhere.
Thanks so much to all of you who participated in my online video Q&A about poverty, development and other topics discussed in my annual letter. I was very encouraged and even inspired by the excellent insights and great compassion reflected in your questions and comments.
Some of you said you wished the Q&A had been longer. It's true, we just scratched the surface and there's a lot more to talk about. But this conversation was just the beginning. I hope to do more, longer Q&As in the future. And all the posts here on The Gates Notes offer you a chance to share your ideas and perspective by posting your comments. Solving the world’s big problems will require all of us to get involved – to learn about the issues and think and discuss how to tackle them. I hope you’ll stay involved and consider how you can play a part in advancing solutions, working in your own community.
Thanks again for taking an interest. Together, we can accomplish great things!
